The Fuel Surcharge is a supplement to the tariffs applied and bound to the detection of the average monthly price for diesel fuel consumption.
The changes in the prices fuels have led to increases in the industry transportation costs,
necessitating the introduction of a variable fuel surcharge called Fuel Surcharge Indexed.
The Fuel Surcharge Indexed is an automatic change applied to the tariff items related to transportation,
due to the average monthly diesel price value automotive consumer,
recognized officially by the Ministry of Economic Development.
The Fuel Surcharge Indexed is subject to possible changes on a monthly basis and is applied as a percentage
tariff agreed upon in the offer, for each percentage point or fraction thereof, of the average price increase
Monthly diesel compared to the "reference price" specified in the contract of carriage.
